The client came with an idea to develop a POC and demo project to search flights based on entered search criteria, where the result page will show the list of flights with their CO2 emission detail. They wanted to develop this application to manage CO2 emissions so that airplane passengers can offset/compensate for their flight emissions.

  • To understand the business objectives and ensure that the overall design and platforms were aligned with them, we conducted a case study research program to understand the need for the product and the critical challenges faced by the customers.
  • Several APIs were integrated. Integration of SkyScanner session API for fetching session data. Integration of SkyScanner session API for fetching session data. Integration of SkyScanner flight pricing API for fetching flight data. Integration of SkyScanner API pagination .API setup on the staging server.
  • Climate Impact Data was fetched as per the flight data.

Results

We were able to understand the requirements correctly in the discovery phase. POC was created for the client exactly as per the expectation. We were able to fetch the correct flight details and climate impact data.
