Key challenges

Parents Monitoring App is an application where parents can keep track of the smartphone activities done by their teens. Users will download the application & to create. They can view the screenshots captured by the application for the activities done on the phone. Users can fetch the SMS details & view the audio recording which has been recorded by the application. They can also do photo monitoring with the help of the application. When they hired ValueCoders, we had to address the following tasks:

  • The client wants to develop a hybrid software/service application that allows you to monitor the smartphone that you own or have proper consent to monitor. The unique system logs the activities when your child uses your Google-powered device.
  • After the software is set up on your phone it will log SMS text messages and call activities and then inserts the logs to your private account.
  • When you want to view results, simply login to the Online Control Panel from any computer or phone web browser and enter your username and password to proceed.

While developing, we faced various challenges including the following ones.

  • Monitoring in real time was a big challenge in the application.
  • Maintaining the screenshots and call history required much effort to keep the track of the activities.
  • Audio Recording was a unique feature in the application and we decided to integrate a plugin for the same.

Solution Implementation

There were a few major parts in the project which was skillfully handled by the talented development team at ValueCoders. This is how we implemented the app.

  • Parents can track the history of the phone’s location and they can view the web history of what they have browsed.
  • Parents can view the SMS details & call details that they have done on the phone.
  • Parents can view call log details including contact name, number & date of call.

Results

The final application met all the technical requirements of the client. The application is one of the best application which can track the child’s smartphone activities which can help the parent to keep their children safe.
